Preschool

Oh my gosh. What on earth did I get myself into? Yesterday was a CRAZY first day of preschool. Now, I don't know about you, but a room filled with 13 two and half-year-olds overwhelms me at times. And, I don't remember having so many cry on the first day last year. Don't get me wrong, I love these little ones, but whew I was worn out come 2:30. I must have forgotten the part where we actually worked to get our crew adjusted to the schedule last year -- my memories must be a little romanticized. I just remember 12 little munchkins who at times were nuts, but for the most part knew what to do from day 1.

Anyway, I really am excited about the potential of this bunch (besides one who I think will keep my co-teacher and me on our toes this entire year, and may even give me my first gray hair). These kids are all so smart! Pray that the next few weeks will go by smoothly and we will all adjust quickly.
