I am a Christian

Hi my name is Renee, and I am a Christian. I am not ashamed. I feel no need to bury my head in the sand because a Christian leader fell. Christians are people who fortunately are living in forgiveness. We all fall short of the glory of God. We all make mistakes. The Word of God tells us that a righteous man may fall seven times and rise again. This is the beauty of God's mercy and grace. And I accept it. Not because I can prove it scientifically or that I don't have moments of doubt. But when it all boils down I know the goodness of God. He has changed my life in a way that is unexplainable. And for those who think I'm wasting my time, if I spend a lifetime serving a God who doesn't exist, then I'll never know. And, I'll still have no regrets! While not without challenges, I have a great life. A life that far exceeds my expectations and most lofty dreams.

That man fell many more times than seven and his sins were more than the simple ones of the flesh. He was leading others while
lying and taking money.
God ask's for faith. The inarguable
acceptance that truth will set you free.

I agree...give the man a break...we all fall short.
