In 6 days my little girl begins kindergarten. OUCH! I'm having a hard time. In a few days I have to take another step in letting go, of preparing her to leave someday.
I'm amazed at how quickly the first 5 years of my daughter's life have flown. What an incredible blessing it is to be her mommy, and what amazing lessons I've learned. Afterall, parenting her is like raising myself, as she and I are so much alike.
Now I get to take a test. A test that shows that I believe God is in control and will protect her. That He has ordered her path and will guide her to where she needs to go. What a journey we're about to begin. Please pray I will hold up through next Thursday, August 10th -- THE FIRST DAY OF KINDERGARTEN!
